Hii its tom85
let the speed of train be X
time taken by train = 180/X
time taken by train when it's
speed
9km/hr more =180/(9 + X)
according to question
180/x - 180/(9+X )= 1
1620 + 180x - 180x = 9x +x^2
x^2 + 9x - 1620 = 0
x^2 + 45x - 36x - 1620=0
(x + 45)(x-36)=0
x=36 and -45
speed of train is 36km/hr
______/\______☺️
hope it may helps you

Given,
Distance=180
Let
SPEED OF TRAIN=x
Then,
TIME TAKEN=180/x
180/x - 180/x+9 = 1
180x + 162 -180x / x^2 + 9x = 1
X^2 + 9x - 162=0
Splitting the middle term,
(x+18)(x-9)=0
x=-18 x=9
x=9 because speed can’t be -ve
Distance=180
Let
SPEED OF TRAIN=x
Then,
TIME TAKEN=180/x
180/x - 180/x+9 = 1
180x + 162 -180x / x^2 + 9x = 1
X^2 + 9x - 162=0
Splitting the middle term,
(x+18)(x-9)=0
x=-18 x=9
x=9 because speed can’t be -ve
