let the speed of the train be x km/h

then by using the formula,

     time=distance/speed, we get

     time taken by the train =360/x hour

     if speed is increased by 5km/h then the new speed of the train =[x+5]km/h

      time taken by the train =[360/x+5]hour

 according to the question,

    360/x=360/x+5   +  1

    360/x-360/x+5 =1

  360[1/x-1/x+5]=1

  x+5-x/x^2+5x=1/360

   therefore after simplification x=30, x=-40

but speed cannot be in negative.

so x=30km/h

 hence the usual speed of passenger train is 30km/h
