a train travels a diatance of 480km at a uniform speed. if the speed had been 8km/h less, then it would have taken 3 hours more to cover the same distance. we need to find the speed of the train.​

If it take 8km/h it may travel in 3 hours or more
So it can travel 24 km

If the train would travel 480 km
So the time may increase or speed may increase

According to the question we want to find the speed
So the speed should be raised by 20 of the previous speed
i.e. 160 km/h

So the train may cover the distance of 480 km/h
