Train travel in first hour = 20 km

distance covered in second hour = 30 km

Distance covered in third hour = 10 km

Average speed = Total distance covered/ total time

=> 20+30+10/3

=> 60/3

=> 20 km/h

Hence the average speed of train is 20 km / h
