let the velocity of train=x km/h
then it takes 480/x h
and from the question we get 480/(x-8)=480/x -3....then we get x= 40
velocity of the train is 40 km/h
then it takes 480/x h
and from the question we get 480/(x-8)=480/x -3....then we get x= 40
velocity of the train is 40 km/h
