20 km at a uniform speed of 60 km h-' and the next 20 km at a uniform speed of 8o km h -1
calculate the average speed​

here is your answer

total distance travelled by the train=40 km

total time taken by the train=

                                             20/60+20/80

                                               =1/3+1/4

                                               =7/12 hrs

then average speed= total distance travelled/total time taken

                                  =40/(7/12)

                                 =480/7 km/hr
