Speed = Distance/ Time

Therefore, 1800km/h = Distance/4h

7200km = Distance

Here we have to calculate the distance travelled by the train.

To calculate the distance by a train or any other object.

We have to know two things;

1) Velocity of the object or the distance travelled by that object in one hour /minute / second. (As per the necessity)

2) The travelling time.

Here

Velocity is = 180 km/hour

And the travelling time is = 4 hours

So,

The travelled distance will be,

= (180×4) km

= 720 km (answer)
