A train travels at a speed of 60 km/hr for 0.52 hr, at 30 km/hr for the next 0.24 hr and then, at 70 km/hr for the next 0.71 hr. What is the average speed of the train?

average speed = Total distance travelled upon total time taken.
Therefore,it will be final distance minus initial distance upon time
That is,70-60/1.47 =10/1.47
=6.80km/hr

hey buddy here is the answer !!!
speed of 1st time = 60km/hr
distance = 60×0.52 = 31.2 km
speed of 2nd time = 30km/hr
distance = 30×0.24 =7.2km
speed of 3rd time = 70km/hr
distance = 70× 0.71= 49.7 km
now avge. speed = total distance / total time
avg. speed = 88.1/1.47
avg. speed = 59. 93km/hr
hope this answer will helpful for u !!
