Hey mate!

Here's your answer!!

We can solve the problem in a different way:

Distance between A B = 108 Kms.

Time taken = 45 mins = 45/60 = 3/4 Hrs = 0.75 Hrs.

So the speed of the train
= 108/3/4
= 108 x 4/3
= 144 Kms / hr.

Time taken to travel from A to B = 45 mins.

Time taken to travel from A to C = 40 mins.

So the train travels from C to B in 45 - 40 = 5 mins.

So the distance travelled by the train in 5 mins = Speed × Time = 144 × 5/60 = 12 Kms.

hope \: it \: helps \: you.

Answer:

Here is Your answer

Step-by-step explanation:

Now see , and try to understand the explanation.

= Distance between A and B is

= 108 kms.

So , the time taken = 45. 3

----- = ---

60 4

= Now, the speed of the train ,

= 4

--- × 108

3

= 144km per hour

=: Travelling A to B time = 45 minutes.

=: Travelling A to C time = -40 minutes.

----------

05

..............

[Distance] :-

= 5

--- × 144 = 12 km

60

So , the distance between B and C = 12 km
