Explanation:

Given :

Let the distance b/w Agra to delhi = x km

so time taken = x/ 50 hr.

and time taken b/w delhi to Agra = x/ 40 hr.

so , Average speed = Total distance/ total time

Total distance= x + x = 2x km

Total time = x/50+ x/40 hr.

= 9x/200 hr

so, Avg. speed =. (2x /9x )* 200

=400/9 hr.

ritika6211: how u got 9/ 200
puru43paphyw: ??
puru43paphyw: that is 9x ÷ 200
puru43paphyw: x/50 + x/40
puru43paphyw: take lcm of 50 and 40 and denominator which is 200.
