a train travels some distance with a speed of 30km/h and returns with a speed of 45km/h .calculate the average speed of the train.​

Answer:

30km/h

= 30×1000/1×60×60 m/s

=25/3 m/s

45km/h

=45×1000/1×60×60 m/s

=25/2 m/s

First Distance= 25m in 3s

Second Distance= 25m in 2s

Avg. Speed= total s/total t

= 25+25/3+2 m/s

=50/5 m/s

=10 m/s
