A train travels some distance with the speed of 30 km per hour and returns with a speed of 50 km per hour calculate the average speed of the train

Let the distance be S

Total distance travelled by train is 2s

T¹ = S/30 and T²= S/50

Average Speed =

 \frac{2s}{ \frac{8s}{150} }  =  \frac{75}{2}{ km }^{ - 1}
