therefore

 \frac{2 \times 100 \times  \frac{200}{3} }{100 +  \frac{200}{3} }

 \frac{ \frac{40000}{3} }{ \frac{500}{3} }

 \frac{40000 }{500}  =  \frac{400}{5}  = 80

formula of avg velocity

addition of speeds / 2

AVG VELOCITY = 100+200/3 ÷2

= 500/3 ÷2

= 500 / 6

= 83.33 km / hr
