Let the distance A and B be x km

Speed while going =60 kmph

∴ time required to go = \dfrac{x}{60}hr

Speed while returning =80 kmph

∴ time required to return = \dfrac{x}{80}hr

∴ total time required = \dfrac{7x}{240}hr

And, total distance travelled =2x km

∴Average velocity= \dfrac{\dfrac {2x}{7x}}{240}kmph

\implies =68.57kmph
