Explanation

u= 54km/h

 =  > 54 \times  \frac{5}{18}

= 15 m /s

Distance Travelled By Train

 =  >  \frac{1}{2} \times 15 \times 5 = 37.5m

Explanation:

Speed of train = 54kmph

Initial velocity = 54 * 1000/60*60 MPs

= 15 meter per second

time taken to stop= 1min= 60seconds

acceleration = (final velocity - initial velocity)/time taken

but final velocity = 0meter per second

........

Now if you really want to learn then solve this yourself.

Hope this helped
