average speed = 2xy/(x+y)

where x is speed from A to B

and y is speed from B to A

so,

x = 80 mph

y = ??

average speed = 96mph

2×80y/(80+y) = 96

160y = 96(80+y)

5y = 3(80+y)

5y -3y = 240

2y = 240

y = 120 mph

hence ,

120mph speed it should travel on the way back
