A train which runs at a speed of 70 km/hr takes 2 hours 30 minutes from one station to another.
Find the distance between the two stations.

Answer:

Ans is 175 km

in 1 hour train covers is = 70 km

so, in 2 hours 30 minutes (i.e 2.5 hours) train will cover is = (70×2.5)km = 175km.
