\huge\fbox{Given}

  • A train goes at the rate of 50km per hour without stopping
  • By stopping it travels at the rate of 45km an hour

\huge\fbox{To\:find}

  • minutes taken by the train when it stop on an average per hour

\huge\fbox\pink{SOLUTION-}

Due to stoppages , it covers 10km less per hour.

Time taken to cover 10 km

 =  \frac{10}{50}  \times 60

= 12 min

Hence train stops on an average 12 min per hour.
