and current gain β = ∆Ic / ∆Iʙ

Here, ∆Ic = 10 × 10^-3 - 5 × 10^-3

= 5 × 10^-3 A

∆Iʙ = 200 × 10^-6 - 100 × 10^-6

= 100 × 10^-6 A

∴ β = 5/100× 1000 = 50
