The percentage rise in voltage at the receiving end is 2.19%

Based on the Ferranti effect,

The rise in voltage  = (ω²l²V_{R} x 10^{-10})/18,

where 'ω' is the angular frequency,

'l' is the length of the transmission line,

' V_{R}' is the receiving end voltage.

Percentage rise in voltage = [(ω²l²V_{R} x 10^{-10})/(18 x V_{R})] x 100%

                                             = (ω²l² x 10^{-8})/18 , here (ω = 2πf)

                                             = [(2π x 50)² x (200)² x 10^{-8}]/18 = 2.19%

Therefore the percentage rise in voltage is 2.19%
