A transparent glass( sphere) has a small opaque dot at its Centre . does the Apparent position of the dot appeared to be the same as its actual position when observed from outside.

★ Here,

observer is in rare medium and object is in denser medium.

NOTE :- When object is in denser medium and observer is in rare medium

1● D(actual) > D (apparent )

2● D(apparent) = D(actual) / R.I

→ so, the apparent position of dot appear to be smaller then actual position.
