A transparent solid cylindrical rod has a refractive index of 2 / root of ( 3) . It is surrounded by air. A light ray is incident at the mid-point of one end of the rod as shown in the figure. The incident angle θ for which the light ray grazes along the wall of the rod is - ( figure of this question is given below ) options : 1) sin ^ -1 (1/2) 2)sin ^-1 ( root of (3) /2 ) 3) sin ^-1 ( 2 / root (3) ) 4) sin ^-1 (1 / root of (3) ) solution is also needed Dont spam from google spam or improper ans will be reported at the spot

Answer    :   I×sin90=32sin(90−α)

                     ⇒cosα=23

                    So, sinα=1−43

 =21

Now, 1×sinθ=3

2sinα=3

2×21=3

1

⇒θ=sin−13

Answer:

1×sin 90=32 sin (90-8)

→Cosa=23

So sina = 1-43 = 21

Now 1×sin = 3

2 sina = 3

2×21 =3

= 1

So sin - 13

= 1

Hope this helps you friend ☺️
