we know wave speed = \frac {w}{k}= 30/1=30\ ms^-^1

implies that  

we know v = \sqrt (\frac {T}{m})

implies that

30 = \sqrt (\frac {T}{m})

=> 900\times 1.2 \times 10^-^4 = T

=> T = 0.108 N
