A trapezium mnop in which mn peraller po angle m=60 degree mn =2.8cm pm=4.2cm angle o =125 degree

Steps of construction:

Draw a line segment mn with a scale of 2.8 cm.

From point m with an angle of 60° draw an arc

as we know that, the sum of opposite angles of a trapezium

∠ m + ∠ p = 180°

∠ n + ∠ o = 180°

∠ n + 125° = 180°

∠ n = 180° - 125°

∴ ∠ n = 55°

From point n with an angle of 55° draw an arc

From point m with a scale of 4.2 cm draw an arc.

A point where arcs from points m and n intersect, mark it as p.

Join mp and np.

From point p, draw a line parallel to line segment mn

A point where the line from point p and an arc from point m intersect mark it as o.

Join mo.

Hence the required construction.
