Hi mate

your solution :-

we know that area of trapezium
= 1/2 * (sum of parallel sides ) * altitude

Let altitude be 'h'

34cm^2 = 1/2 (6+11) h
34cm^2 = 1/2 *17 * h
h = 34*2/17
h = 68 / 17
h = 4

Hence , altitude of given trapezium = 4 cm

Answer:

Altitude = 4 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Parallel sides = 6 cm and 11 cm

Area of trapezium = 34 cm²

\frac{1}{2} *(sum of || sides)* h = 34

\frac{1}{2} * (6 + 11) * h = 34

⇒ 17/ 2 * h = 34

⇒ h = 34 * 2 / 17

⇒ h = 2 * 2

⇒ h = 4

Hence, the altitude of trapezium is 4 cm.
