A trapezoid has shorter base of length 6 inches, distance between bases of 4 inches, and interior angles of 30 degrees and 60 degrees with the longer base. Find the area enclosed by the trapezoid ?

angles of the triangle if we draw the 2 heights on the trapizoid are in the ratio 1:2:3, so the sides opposites

to them are in the ratio I.: v3:2

from this the longer side is 4v3+ 6+4=16.9appr.

Area of trappizoid='/2h (I+b)

I/2x4 (16.9+6) =45.8 inch 2
