A tree casts a shadow that is 135% of its actual height. if the shadow is 18.9 feet, what is the height of the tree.

Let the height of the tree be h, then shadow is 1.35×h

So when shadow is 1.35h, height is h,

So when shadow is 18.9, height will be (h/1.35h)×18.9

=18.9/1.35=1890/135=210/15=14 feet
