Answer:

Let BC be the distance frm the foot of the tree where the top touches

Let AC be broken part

Let AB be still tree part

AB/BC=tan 45

AB/BC =1

AB=BC

SO, AB = 10 M

AB/AC=sin 45

10/AC=1/√2

AC=10√2m

height of the tree = AB+AC

= 10+10√2

=10(1+√2)m
