Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

let the height of the tree be "h"

height of the tree = 2/5 of h + height of the building

h = (2/5 x h) + 9

h/1 -2/5 x h = 9

LCM of 1 & 5 = 5

h/1 x 5/5 = 5h/5

-2h/5 x 1/1 = -2h/5

(5h -2h) ÷ 5 = 9

3h ÷ 5 = 9

3h = 9 x 5

h = 35 ÷ 3

h = 11.6 m

hope so this must be the answer......
