a tree is surrounded by barriers for each inch of the trunk diametre the protection zone shouuld hace a radius of 4 divided by 3 feet find the area of the zone for the tree with a trunk circumfrence of 63 inches........................ please help

Circumference = 63 inches

2πr = 63

2*22/7*r = 63

r = (63*7)/44

r = 441/44

r = 10 inches (Approx)

Radius of the Protection Zone = 4/3 feet = (4*12)/3 = 16 inches

Now, the radius of the protection zone will be = 10 + 16

= 26 inches

Area of the whole zone = πr²

= 22/7*26*26

= 14872/7

Area of the zone = 2124.57 sq inches.
