A triangle and a parallelogram are constructed on the same base such that their areas are equal. If the altitude of the parallelogram is 100 m, then find the altitude of the triangle .​

It is given that the areas of the parallelogram and triangle are equal.... So,

Area of parallelogram = Area of triangle

Base × Height = ½ × Base × Height

2 × Height of parallelogram = Height of triangle

Therefore, the attitude of the triangle will be double to that of the triangle.... This means the attitude of the triangle is 200m...
