Area of parallelogram = base × height

= 24 × h

= 24h

30^2=18^2+24^2

By converse of Pythagoras theorem this triangle is a right angled triangle

Area of this right angled triangle

=1/2 × 18 × 24

=216

Area of parallelogram=1/2 × area of triangle

24h=216

h = 9 cm

So height of the parallelogram is 9 cm
