Answer:

12 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

The area of triangle can be found with Heron's formula since all sides are known:

  • A= √s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)

where s=(a+b+c)/2, and a, b, c are sides of triangle

Applying the formula:

  • s=(a+b+c)/2=(26+28+30)/2=42
  • A=√s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)= √42*16*14*12=336 cm²

The area of parallelogram= 28h  (base=28 cm and h is height)

Since the area of parallelogram is same as the area of the triangle= 336 cm²,

  • h=336/28= 12 cm

Answer is 12 cm
