Answer;-

According to the Question

It is given that ,

  • Base of Triangle ,b = 15 inch

  • Area of Triangle ,A = 60 square inches

We have to calculate the height of the triangle.

  • Area of Triangle = 1/2×b × h

where,

  • b denote Base
  • h denote height

Substitute the value we get

:\implies 60 = 1/2×15 × h

:\implies 60= 15/2 × h

:\implies 60×2/15 = h

:\implies 4×2 = h

:\implies 8 = h

:\implies h = 8 inch

  • Hence, the height of the triangle is 8 inch.

answers

area of triangle 60 square inches

base of triangle 15 inches

we all know that area of triangle is 1/2 * b * h

60 = 1/2 * 15* h

60*2= 15*h

120 = 15* h

120/ 15 = h

8 inches = height
