So perimeter i.e., sum of all sides is 26.

Measures are 12 , x and x-4.

therefore equation is 12+x+x-4=26

Answer:

perimeter = sum of all sides

Step-by-step explanation:

perimeter = sum of all sides

1st side = 12

2nd side = X

3rd side = X - 4

perimeter \: = 12 + x + x - 4 \\ 26 = 8 + 2x \: ( changed \: perimeter \: with \: 2x) \\ 26 - 8 = 2x \\ 18 = 2x \\ \frac{18}{2} = x \\ x = 9

2nd side = x = 9

3rd side = X - 4 = 9-4 = 5
