and third side=x+4

so perimeter of triangle =sum of all three sides

perimeter =57cm (given)

now, x+(x+2)+(x+4)=57

3x+6=57

3x=57-6=51

x=51/3=17cm

so, first side=x=17cm

second side=x+2=17+2=19cm

third side=x+4=17+4=21cm
