Answer:

Since total length of the rope remains constant, both the perimeters of square and triangle are same. Perimeter of triangle=25+11+31=67. Perimeter of square= 4a=67. "a" is the length of the side. So a = 67/4= 16.75.

Area =a2= 280.56

According the question, a triangle is made from a rope.

the sides of triangle are 19cm,14 cm and 31 cm.

∴ Total length of the rope will be = (19cm+14 cm +31 cm)= 64 cm

and length of the rope is constant.

∴ Both the perimeters of square and triangle will be same.

Perimeter of triangle=(25+11+31) cm=64cm.

Perimeter of square= 4a= 64cm.   ( sides of the square)

∴ a = \frac{64}{4} cm = 16 cm

Hence area of the square will be = side × side

= a × a square unit

=a² square unit

= 16cm × 16cm

= 256cm²

Ans :-  The area of the square made from the rope will be 256 cm².
