A triangular park has sides 100m, 100m and 160m. A gardener has to put a fence all around it    and also plant grass inside. Find the cost of fencing it with barbed wire at the rate of rupees 10 per meter leaving a space 2m wide for a gate on one side and how much area does he need to plant?​

Perimeter= Sum of all sides

=100+100+160=360m

Space for fencing=360-2=358m

Rate of fencing per meter=₹10

Rate of fencing 358m=₹10×358

=₹3,580

Now, for planting grass,

Area of triangle=1/2×base×height

=1/2×160×60( calculate height by using

Pythagoras Theorem)

=4800m^2

So, the gardener needs to plant an area of 4800m^2.
