Hi there!

Your Answer :-

Let the C.P. be 100.

After 16% Gain, S.P. = 116x.

After 20% Gain, S.P. = 120x.

New Gain - Old Gain = C.P.

\tt\blue{120x - 116x = 100}

\tt\pink{4x = 100}

\tt\green{x = 25.}

So, C.P. = ₹25 × 100 = ₹2500.

Hence, C.P. = ₹2500.
