I woke up on Sunday the 2nd of May 2010, so full of excitement. It was still very early in the morning, but all of my excitement kept me awake.
Our flight to Brisbane from Rockhampton was at 2:00pm that afternoon. It seemed to take so long. While I was waiting, I checked I had packed everything. Being far away from home you need to remember everything.
2:00pm came eventually. We drove to the airport, we were all very excited. I remember sitting down in the airport and hearing “Those boarding Qf2357, please make your way through security”. I leapt out of my seat so eager to get on the plane.
By the end of the day we were all settled in our Hotel in Brisbane. The next morning I got woke up hearing “Come on Kiddies we are going to Los Angles, USA, get up and get ready. That morning was the quickest I ever seen anyone get out of bed. We got ready had breakfast, and were at the airport soon after.When we arrived in Los Angles, we went to a cafe for breakfast; they serve huge amounts over there.
