Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of crop field = 1.2 Km by 450 m

                             = 1200 m × 450 m→→[1 Km = 1000 m]

                              = 5,40,000 m²

As, 1 Hectare = 10,000 m²

Area of crop field == 54 hectare

Amount of fertilizer that a trolley can carry = 240 Kg

Amount of fertilizer required  in a crop field = 50 Kg per Hectare

Total amount of fertilizer required in the crop field whose area is 54 hectare =54 × 50 Kg=2700 Kg

Number of Trollies of fertilizer required if the total amount of fertilizer required in the crop field is 2700 Kg and a single trolley can carry 240 Kg of fertilizer=

The number of trollies must be an integral value. It can't be equal to 11.25. So minimum number of trollies must be equal to 12 Trollies.
