answer : option (3) 90°

explanation : Let T is the tension acting on trolley.

so, component of tension along the inclined plane is Tcos\alpha.

if m is the mass of system of trolley,

then, component of weight along the inclined plane is mgsin\theta

acceleration of the trolley = acceleration of the bob in the trolley as bob is in the equilibrium in frame of the trolley.

so, net force along the plane,

mgsin\theta+Tcos\alpha=ma

for free falling on inclined plane, a = gsin\theta along the plane.

so, mgsin\theta+Tcos\alpha=mgsin\theta

Tcos\alpha=0

\alpha=90^{\circ}

hence, option (3) is correct.
