a trolley while going down and inclined plane has an acceleration of 2 cm S -2 what will be its velocity 3 seconds after the start

this question is from chapter motion in 9th class CBSE you can also referred guide but please tell me the exact answer don't do spam

6cm/s-2 is the answer for the above question...........

You are given the acceleration while going down the inclined plane. Simply use the formula of velocity to fins it.

At start, u = 0
a = 2 cm/s^2
t = 3 s

v = u + at

v = 0 + 2×3

v = 6 cm/s

Velocity of trolley after 3s will be 6 cm/s.


chAnjani: is there any need to change centimetres into metres for the acceleration

TPS: There is no need as such. But if you want to report it in m/s, you can do it.
TPS: Then the answer will be 0.06 m/s.
TPS: But it hasn't asked specifically to find velocity in m/s. So it's okay.
TPS: If your teacher is very strict and expects answers in standard form(i.e. SI units) , you better convert it into m/s ;)
