  • 200m distance will it cover in 10 seconds after the start

Given :

  • A trolley while going down in blind plane has an acceleration of 4m/s²

To find :

  • What distance will it cover in 10 seconds after the start (Final speed)

Solution :

Given,

  • Acceleration (a) = 4m/s²
  • Initial speed (u) = 0
  • Time (t) = 10 seconds

As we know that,

  • S = ut + 1/2 at²

Where , S is seconds , u is Initial speed , a is acceleration and t is time

》S= ut + 1/2at²

》S = 0 + 1/2 (4 × 100)

》S = 1/2 (400)

》S = 200m

Hence , 200m distance will it cover in 10 seconds after the start
