Answer: At 2 seconds the truck's velocity will be 2 m/s.

Explanation:

We will use Newton's first equation of motion to solve this question. Which is given as,

\mathrm{v=u+at}        (1)

Where,

v= final velocity

u= initial velocity

a= acceleration of the body

t= time during which the motion occurs

From the question we have,

The initial velocity of the truck(u)=0 m/s

The final velocity of the truck(v)= 1 m/s

The time during which the motion occurs(t)= 2 seconds

By inserting the values in equation (1) we get;

\mathrm{1=0+a\times 2}

\mathrm{a=0.5\ m/s^2}         (2)

Now we have to find the velocity at a time of 2 seconds. So, for that, we will use equation (1) as follows:-

\mathrm{v=1+0.5 \times 2}      (here we are considering initial velocity=1m/s)

\mathrm{v=1+1}

\mathrm{v=2\ m/s}

So, at two seconds the truck's velocity will be 2 m/s.
