Explanation:

let velocity of car and truck be v.

mass of car be m1

mass of truck be m2

A/q

m2= 15 m1 _____________equ1

we know

kinetic energy, K = 1/2 mv^2

now,

k1 that is kinetic energy of car

= 1/2m1v^2

and k2 that is kinetic energy of truck

= 1/2m2v^2

so

from equation 1 we can write

k2 = 1/2×15m1v^2

so

k1/k2=1/2m1v^2÷1/2×15m1v^2

k1/k2=1/15.

Answer:

15:1 is the correct answer

Explanation:

Let the velociy of truck and car = v

let mass of truck = 15m

Let mass of car= 1m or m

Formula to be used : 1/2 mv²

Ratio: 1/2×15m×v²

1/2×m×v²

15:1 by dividing
