distance covered in 1st time =50km

speed of truck =40 km/hr.

time =distance /speed

time taken=50/40

=5/4hr.

distance covered in 2nd time =50km

speed=60km/hr

time taken=50/60

=5/6

average speed = total distance /total time

=(50+50) /(5/4+5/6)

=100/{(5*3+5*2) /12}

=100/{(15+10) /12}

=100/25/12

=100*12/25

=4*12

=48km/hr
