Given :   A truck crossed a man who was going along road at an average speed of 6 km/hr. The man could see the truck upto 2 minutes and then it disappeared. At the time of disappearance the distance between man and truck was 1.2 km

To Find : Speed of Truck

Solution:

Distance traveled  by man in 2 minutes = 6 * (2/60) = 0.2 km

Relative Distance between man & truck = 1.2km

Relative Distance between man & truck  = Distance traveled by truck - distance traveled by man

=> 1.2  = Distance traveled by truck  - 0.2 km

=> Distance traveled by truck  = 1.4 km

Speed of truck  =  1.4/ (2/60)    = 42 km/hr

Speed of truck  =  42 km/hr
