A truck is in the form of ring whose inner cirumference is 132m and outer
circumference is 176m .find the width of track

Find the outer radius :-

Circumference = 2πR
=> 176 = 2 × 22/7 × R
=> R = (176 × 7 × 2)/22 = 28

Let the inner radius be r

Find the inner radius :-

Circumference = 2πr
=> 132 = 2 × 22/7 × r
=> r = (2 × 132 × 7)/22 = 21

Now,
Find the width of track :-

Width of track = Outer radius - Inner radius
= (28 - 21) m
= 7 m

Hence,
Width of track = 7 m
