Answer:

here is your answer

Explanation:

1km = 1000km

40km = 40000km

40000m/hr

1minute = 60 seconds

666.66m/min ÷ 60 = 11.11 m/s

now we multiply the no of seco ds by the no of speed the truck travels

11.11= 55.55

by rounding of

the truck moved 55.56 m in 5 seconds

initial velocity (u) = 40 km/hr = 100/9 m/s
final velocity (v) = 0 ( since the truck stops)
time (t) = 5 sec

By Law of Motion ‘v = u + at’
Where ‘a’ = acceleration

0 = 100/9 + 5a
5t = -100/9
a = (-100/9) * 1/5
a = -20/9 m/s ^ 2

by law of motion v^2 = u^2 + 2aS

0 = 10000/81 + 2 * -20/9 * S
-10000/81 = -40/9 * S
S = (-10000/81)/(-40/9)
S = -10000/81 * 9/-40
S = 250 / 9 Meters
= 27.78 meters

Thus, the truck travels 27.78 meters.
